However, here is a quick fly-by summary of how you can resolve your Air Canada complaint with our AviationADR Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme!

The Air Canada ADR Process

  1. You complain to Air Canada directly in writing and give them 8 weeks to respond
  2. If you were left unsatisfied with Air Canada’s response, and want to push for a resolution (such as compensation), you fill out the AviationADR Complaint Form

  3. After you’ve filled out and submitted the form to AviationADR, Air Canada gets 28 days to reply to your complaint: they can either settle, or challenge it
  4. AviationADR establishes a Complete Complaint File, and a specialist Adjudicator reaches a decision on your case within 60 days of this date

That’s it! In it’s simplest form: all you need to do is submit your Air Canada complaint to us, and we handle the rest.

Before making a complaint about Air Canada

Take note that to lodge a complaint against Air Canada, you need to have addressed the issue directly to Air Canada, ideally in writing. You should have received a final written response, sometimes known as a ‘deadlock letter’, or allowed Air Canada a span of eight weeks to respond.
